It was in Cape Cod, during our honeymoon in September 2007, that I fell head over heels with Autumn. Never before had I seen such trees, such leaves, such colours. The three years we lived in England made this autumnal fascination of mine grow even stronger. It’s a fact that I love trees throughout the year: naked in winter, flowery in spring, green in summer… but, for me, it’s in Autumn that they reach their peek.
I gathered these leaves on the way between our house and Rodrigo’s daycare (those 4 km I walk every day). The road never changes but nature is never the same. At the moment camellias are starting to bloom, there are bulbs poking through the ground in some gardens and leaves that change colour and fall down. These small occurrences comfort me and make my days less monotone and much happier.
