English Country Life :: Natural Decoration

Agora que o Natal se aproxima e que começamos a pensar em decorar as nossas casas, que tal um passeio por entre jardins e veredas? A Natureza oferece-nos todo o material de que precisamos para  encher a casa de espírito natalício. Hera, musgo, frustos silvestres, bagas encarnadas… tudo bonito, sustentável e gratuito. 
Now that Christmas is coming and we all start planning our home decoration, how about a stroll amongst gardens and country lanes? Nature offers us everything we need to dress our homes in a festive way. Ivy, moss, wild fruits and red berries… all beautiful, sustainable and free.

    Lovely photos! I was intrigued to see where it was in the UK you has relocated to and it really is very near to where I live as I recognise your photos taken in Milford and of Shugborough Hall. I am about 15 drive away from you – it's a very small world indeed! 🙂

    Tudo lindo sem dúvida. Penso que as bagas vermelhas são de uma planta chamada cotoneaster. Aqui no Alentejo não chegam a perder completamente a folha. É o que me parece da foto. E muito obrigada pelas sugestões e por este blog!
